Let the Fund Raising Begin

Hi, sorry it has been awhile since I have posted anything, life just goes by to quick.

The brochures have been printed and the team - Jershua, Kevin and Cathy have began the real work of raising money and yes, training.......



Abby has finished her last chemo and will be making a trip in the next few week to the Mayo Clinic for a long series of test. This will determine if "Fred" is really dead...... I will keep everyone posted.

I recently came across a great website on Sacroma Cancer and have attached a copy of a short video. Please take a minute to watch. It is well worth it and careful, it could bring you to tears.

I cannot believe the number of people affected by this type of cancer and how little we, the public, know about this form of cancer.

3 Days for Abby goals is to bring awareness and provide education about Sacroma Cancers.

The journey to help raise money for Children's Cancer Research Fund has begun. I am setting out on a journey to run from Minneapolis to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota to help raise money for childhood cancer. I have two good friends who quickly got behind me and without hesitation said they would join me for the 3 day run. Now that's a good friend.

We really aren't crazy, we just want to find a way to help my niece who has been fighting Ewing's Sarcoma (bone cancer) for the last year. Abby and her family have had to overcome and battle this horrible disease everyday for the last year. No family should ever have to go through this -- ever--- more money is needed to fund research to help our children. This 75 mile run is the my attempt to help, to perhaps make a small contribution to a very big issue - Children Cancer Research.
